If independent rear suspension is more beneficial for road courses and Rovals, then add some more of those courses to the circuit. If they cut back on the 1.5 mile cookie cutter course races, I will not shed a tear.
Super speedways and road courses, are two of my favorite NASCAR venue race sites to watch.

putting an F1 chassis under a carbon fibre body would be better, the point is not to get around the course as fast as engineering will allow otherwise all racing would be one design.

I actually watched the Daytona 500. Until Keselowski caused a massive wreck and Nascar, in typical fashion , didn't do a damn thing to him for causing the wreck.
He had been bumping the rookie for at least 2 laps coming out of the corners. Every time he did the rookie got loose. Then when asked about it he acted surprised that the rookie got loose and lost control of his car.

Turned it off after that. I'll give it another try when they go to a road course.
