If you want the 1990 Johnson 225, it's $1200 including controls and cable steering. I don't know much about the motor other than it starts. It's a partial trade so that's as far as I've gotten with it. The seller seems legit. He says it 'planes' his 22' pontoon.

Is this freshwater? Has the mechanic done compression test yet?

I don't know the full history of the motor. The owner lived in the middle of Ohio so fresh water for him but going back to 1990 I have no idea. Compression tests and general once over from my mechanic should take place either today Saturday or early next week. If I don't have a buyer by the time he checks it out, I'm going to have it hooked up to my speed boat and try to sell it as a working package.
