2.5 blocks
guys i have 2 blocks that i am rebuilding on my boat 1993 2.5 200 hp v6 both are carb mtrs one block is stamped ee the other is stamped ff could the ff be from a efi block and the ee be from a carb mtr the welch plug nos OG029578 for ee mtr and OG944533 ff mtr so are they both 2.5 200 v6s thanks for help

There were both carb and efi FF’s. Probably some efi EE’s out there too. Mercury did a lot of putting together whatever they had at the time, so when you think you’ve seen it all.....think again.

They will handle differently. The EE will have more low end punch where as the FF will have a higher top end.
Both were EFI or carb from the factory.

If you look in the divider plate area (exhaust chest) you will see the difference.
