Tuning a V8 3.6 for race car
Hi All
Now that I have proven its practical to install & run a V8 in a race car using CVT transmission, I am now involved in building a completely new race car.
The car is completely carbon fibre construction and we now plan to use the E300CX V8 power head coupled to a 6 speed transaxle gearbox.
Any advice on engine tuning/porting/finger ports? as we want to keep the usable RPM range in the 5 to 6000RPM area. Is there a proven EFI system available for the V8.
ANY suggestions/help/recommendations are welcome
We live in the UK, theres NO V8 two stroke knowledge here, you have it all in USA.

Yup, Monty for the motor work and maybe Dave Bush for the EFI. I don't think he does much with the V8's although he does a lot with the V6's.
