Yeah man. Wasn't a cheap conversion. But I intend to keep this one for a long while. Need to install the lower cowl piece still but I want to check all the powerhead nuts after some run time so left it off for now.

Got a chance to run it a couple times. Still working out some small items. Speedo isn't working at all. Its a new gaffrig gps speedo. Need to check over my wiring. Had the temp sender hooked up to a livorsi water temp gauge and it was reading quite high. I bought a water temp sender and installed it in the water jacket, now I have no reading. Will check it over and figure out what's going on.
I will say it's pretty much scary fast. I have another pro comp with a worked over 225 promax that runs great but nothing like this rig. I think the other hull is quite a bit heavier. The floor was replaced and it's way thicker than this one and the top deck seems lighter on this one also. I didn't come close to running it out. Had a 30 Merc ET on there so it was flying pretty good even at around 7k rpm. Think I'll stick with the 28 going forward as I'm not too concerned with a top number. Hope to get the kinks worked out this weekend. But towing the family around in the ski boat and floating in the water all day uses up my time. It's been hot in the southeast past couple weeks. Looking forward to the temp breaking lower soon.Bullet CC w/ 225 Promax - Sold

Watch those capscrews and powerhead stud nuts closely Danger. Mine worked a little loose on the port side a few weeks ago and cracked my cutdown mid. There's a tremendous amount of lateral thrust on a mid when you jump big wakes at an angle. I learned the hard way. I'm putting it all back together now, for the King of the Hill rally at Clark Hill Lake this Saturday, and I'm going with nylock stainless nuts on the studs. You're not running a skirt yet so it will be easy to keep a close eye on them. I'm fitting a carbon fiber skirt for mine (Alien cowl and pan), so I need to be doubly careful to get them torqued enough, and keep them that way, because without removing the skirt I won't be able to check them easily. A buddy of mine runs a 280 on his Triad V21 and when I told him of my problem he pulled his skirt and checked his. He said he turned them all about a quarter turn.

It runs 82 every time with a 28 pro ET but the gearcase is not happy and its becoming expensive. He only weights a hundred pounds, when I get in with him, we lose 5 instantly. Time for a motor upgrade-he will be getting a V6 Four Stroke at some point soon.
