I wasn't aware that any outboard factory balanced their crankshafts ..

The "factory balance" will jump out of the blocks and hit the floor ..

Mercury could learn from Maytag ...

Still sore I didn't post pitchers of "the witch's nose" modification on a sporty ... ???

I'll say it again , I didn't invent it , so I'm not free to blab it .. perhaps that's why people trust me with their intellectual property ..

    Crank balancing ....

Been discussed here before , maybe you should have spent half as much time using the search function as it took you to whine about the washing machine ..

OP .. You wont find many shops that have bobweight's that will fit a 1.000" rod journal , you'll need to bring your own adapters and light weights .. the big washers won't be needed.

A 120* crank for the most part is neutral , and can be dynamic balanced. I can tell you that a stock crank will jump out of the blocks and hit the floor .. it's as bad as that washing machine .. so no smart azz comment , just fact ..

However , if you wish to deal with the end to end or secondary amplitude , you will need to build weights and spin it up.
Hines recommends 30 to 50 percent .. I have always done outboards like Big Block Chevy's .. and went 52 percent .
