79 Baker with 2.4 Mercury Bridgeport

I have a 79 Baker with a 2.4 Mercury Bridgeport engine mounted to a Land N Sea jackplate. The Motor in the jackplate is broken and I am looking to sell the boat. Any thoughts on whether I should put a manual or new hydraulic jackplate on it before selling it? I don't know what the boat is worth and not sure if I should spend $1500 on a new jack plate just to sell it.
    Any thoughts?

Welcome aboard. If everything else is mint, maybe a new jackplate, but I think sell as is. How fast?

It has an aluminum 19 pitch prop on it and it will get to 65 easy, then if I adjusted the jackplate and drive, it would do 70.

look in the buy and sell section, you will find out your motor, if a true BP horn motor, is worth a fair amount of cash depending on condition.

Would likely be interested at right price cash. Send me a pm with contact info. Mainly interested in hull only if someone wants the motor but might be doable as is. Thanks
