Fluctuating/changing atmospheric pressure is not an issue with electric motors, combustible engines beware when challenging the new kids on the block when climbing mountains.

And their torque accelerates fast too.

Here is my Hill Climb car fitted with V8 - 3.6L Evinrude plus CVT transmission. As you say the hill effects a carburettored car. Now building a V6 Evinrude with EFI and 6 Expansion chambers to overcome the issues.
