Going right by me now. It's not too much of a big deal. Just heavy rain and some 35 mph wind. Thanks for thinking of us Jim!

I got a kick out of a FLORIDA MAN... telling a reporter for a TV station that he wasn't worried about the storm or his safety...
HE WAS STAYING BEHIND TO TAKE CARE OF HIS BOAT!!!
Now THAT is a FLORIDA MAN!!!

unless the dock lets go and everybody is floating around , I don't mind the thought of being onboard and being able to tend to the lines. as a liveaboard for a period of my life I've had to contemplate how to handle the situation , I've seen high dollar rigs start rubbing a piling and with the sawing motion grind holes straight thru rubrails. each incodent is different of coarse , but it all depends on the predicted wind speed, to much , I'm gone . Fun Out

Slept right through it I didn’t even bring my lawn chairs in, all the reporters were hoping for a bad one.

It hit Savannah last night about 10:00 p.m. . Lots of rain few tree tops and limbs down. Ended up with about 5 in of rain. It was like a summer thunderstorm that lasted four or five hours

Every year we have the news chickeees standing in some water with the tall boots and rain gear on. Pleading with everyone to run for their lives to home depot and buy all the hurricane supplies they cannot afford or take back. I did wheel out my gen set and test fire it for the heck of it. Ran it for an hr or so powering my ac system to load up it good. Other than that, did nothing.

Small blow and about 4 inches here. All good. Farmers needed the rain.
