    Old battery cables will corrode(you might not be able to see it) and the resistance goes through the roof.Just something to else to check.
    If I knew it was going to last this long I would have taken better care of it.

    Bendix was owned by AlliedSignal when I worked at Allied. I even had Bendix business cards for a year or two. Then Honeywell bought Allied. Now Bendix is owned by a German company. Bendix still has US plants

    way back last year...

    Removed, cleaned, and re-lubed the Bendix. Problem solved and did not return..
