    Lowes

Anyone have contact in lowes corporate ? Made the mistake of my life hiring them for a new kitchen. Has become the joke of the neighborhood, and no one will take any responsibility to do a damn thing.

...neighbor did the same thing. contracted them for a new kitchen. big mistake. they had 400 excuses on everything. took him months & months & months start to finish. they finally finished it. if not too far into it, get your money back.

It's to far for that unfortunately. Some cabinets, some appliances, countertop guy supposed to be here "maybe get to it this week". This is the fourth month now.

I'm a remodeling contractor and I have a kitchen showroom. I can't tell you how many calls I get to come and fix the 2 big box store jobs that are screwed up big time.

Most of my work includes construction services. Moving walls, rearranging the floorplan, etc. I get what the cabinet companies can't do because I'm licensed and I can pull permits. Inspections included most kitchens take me 5 working weeks.

Funny I should come across this post about Blowes now......my wife loved a sample of carpet in the store sooooooo much that we got Blowes out for measurements and so on. These people called and contacted us right up until payment time. Now 2 months later and we just get a call that they MIGHT be able to get 1 out of 4 rooms done by the end of the month........anyone? Common sense says to me, it's all the same freakin carpet!!! Why not bring it all and install it at the same damn time

They hire all types of subcontractors and they get overbooked. Also there are many flaky contractors out there.

So finally they came out and carpeted the floors after my wife got ahold of what we think was corporate. I guess they then chewed someone's ass and got the ball rolling.
Anyway I have to give the installers credit, job came out mint. Hardest room was our family room around the wood stove, there's no bubbles or seams showing and all corners are tucked neatly under the moldings.

If you used a credit card, pull it back. That will wake them up
