Very sad. We lost so many great people this year. Seeing Ron's posts almost makes it feel as if he's still with us, which in itself makes me sad. Ron was one of our longest members and his contributions as a fellow boaters and just great person are immeasurable.

    Rest In Peace, Ron.

Sorry to be reading this. Ron and I sent parts back and forth over the years and he was always a stand up guy to deal with. R.I.P. my friend and my prayers go out to his friends and family. These losses that we are all seeing need to be used as an alarm to get out and enjoy life with your friends and family every chance we get...

I was laying in bed this evening and I can't get this out of my head, after reading all the post for about the 10th time you realize how many wonderful people there are, I only hope that one day we have a cure so none has to lose a dad, brother, sister, mom, or friend,..

That's what I have been preaching for years, this cancer can happen in family members, Cleveland Clinic told my brother to have a scope, it happens in women very seldom, so wasn't worried about my sisters. If you have acid reflux, you need to have a scope and check on your asophigus, nexium the rest of your life kinda sucks but it beats the alternative. Get to a Doctor and take care of yourself.

And how short and fragile our existence is on this planet. We should spend our time enjoying each others company, and be thankful for it, to have the opportunity to share our common interests, rather than a pathological obsession occupying the bulk of our time with deranged, petty, and absurd arguments.

I was lucky, I don't have a stomach anymore, so I eat a lot of kid's meals. If you have acid reflux, get it looked at, get it fixed and have a scope to check for cancer, I have lost several friends and if you wait till you can't swallow, it's too late.
