Verado ECM can you?

Then Xmen the thing with a new gearcase and you have yourself a legal 300X

I need twins if its only 225. Twin 300's would be sick on my little fountain. I have twin 175's now and it's in the 60's. with full tank and another person in slick calm water. 300's might be a bit much. Well don't get me wrong I would enjoy it, I just don't need it.

maybe save your money to buy fuel? as prices are going up

currently filling up the skater with 1.40 premix cost me around $ 1028,- and i have 2.5 liter engines
yes the netherlands is a great country to live in!

I have a 200 gallon tank. It's currently $650 to fill up. Another reason one 350 I believe would be better.

It's a shame we still haven't figured out if the 3 liter sei gearcase would fit on the mercury 150 fourstroke
2 of those engines new would be same as a single 350
There is something to be said for having 2 engines
With a 1.62 gear ratio yould could have your pick of proppelors

You enter a gray area by installing a factory unmodified ecu of more horse power or installing an aftermarket ecu
As this would be a non factory ecu

From what I read it looks from 1998 onward it is illegal to adjust settings , modify , or change anything that would affect emissions or fuel economy . I have a 97 Merc 2.5 liter EFI that came with no emissions sticker on the VST . I bought a 98 Laser EFI set up to have spare parts . 98 Merc VST has an emissions (SMOG) sticker on it
