Delrin is the same as solid imo. In auto use these are helpful for sheer applications ( bushings that need to move ) control arms etc. In a boats engine mounts which are fixed I see no gain aside from corrosion resistance I doubt the NVH would be any better

It's not mph as much as handling...
you get the benefits of both obviously speed, better handling..and life saving too..
If going for any performance always put them in.
I wouldn't wait for it to happen...unless you have plenty of seat time ability..
I driven thru *it* plenty of times w rubber mounts just need to be able to do it. Takes time, ability.
But so much easier w solid mounts like one hand on the wheel and on the phone easierLETS GO BRANDON.... LETS GO BRANDON

As mentioned they are more for handling, my boat isn't fast but the solid mounts make for an overall better driving experience. There is a bit of extra vibration but I only notice it and low rpm and mostly trimmed down. Also I don't have to worry about the rubber mounts going soft again.

Great info, thanks. So, is there a preferred vendor or manufacturer for the solid mounts? 3.0 Merc 250 EFIs (2005)
