What's the benefit of running twin OB over a single IO setup on the 30'?

Lol. I dunno, when they get up to the 28-30' range, I think it's pretty cool to have the big blocks in them. Totally agree on the small boats though. Miss the screaming 260 on my Allison from time to time.

The internet: "but how does it do in the rough"

Me who can't afford it but gets tired of being beat up in the rough: Who Cares!!

That boat is awesome. The speeds they claim always put the internet in a tizzy, and then they go out and run the speeds they expected.

a 24 Tuff is still one of my favorite boats

No such thing as too big of a fan. The TUFF team is the speed scenes ultimate inspiration these days. Anyone who doesnt want to buy a TUFF is frantically trying to build something better than a Tuff. Competition in the high performance market is the greatest gift to people like us. Consumers reap the rewards of competition and innovation

I guess i crossed the fan boy line. Every performance boat/car/bike builder wants to build the most desirable product. In the sales of speed, speed wins. Therefore every consumer performance boat builder has their eyes on Tuff. Are you suggesting no builders are paying attention to Tuff? Seems last time Tuff put up a record at Lotto there was some serious money and effort to take that record off the chart. So they should

seems to me Tuff wanted to compete with that and set a higher bar. They sure did and i look forward to the next team who wants that spot and so on and so on

Well he also said in another thread that the bottom design is basically the same as all other pad boats. I have studied many and don’t see that with my own eyes.
So cool to see a family run operation just flat out killing it with design and innovation! That video makes my hair stand on end every time I view it!

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
