Alfadan Outboard's inline 4 at 650 HP & less weight - should Mercury be concerned?

Alfadan CEO, "We have reinvented the connecting rod."

They claim to have technology, that has 50% less moving engine parts.

concerned about a ridiculous concept that will never see the light of day? no, I don't think they need to be concerned. This motor has been discussed many times on many forums, it is a non starter.

    Let's see:

    - Nothing that exists in the real world
    - No plans of who is making any of the parts
    - No distributor network
    - No dealer/parts network
    - No deals with any boat OEMs
    - 100% CGI renderings
    - Crowdsourced money to make it become reality

Yeah, imma go with 'never going to happen' for $500, Alex.

Ah, I think it is a scam. Too many things that don't add up.
