Any go fast People out there?

87 Big block 454 Chevy big cam (think it add a 1/2" lift compared to stock). It was alot of tuning to do still, we were going 90ish and the boat really leans over for the porp being so big (14-15 I think)

This is the speed run, it was 96.9 i think the boat should go 120-130 MPH

You have a ride plate on it? Would help a lot with the porpoise at low speed. Boat's a hand full it seems. Little rough, but what a cool place to run with the fog and mountains.

It has cavitation plates, they are set for high speeds. When you get up to 4,000 RPM it smooths out and the back starts to walk to the side so you need to correct it by turning turning the wheel.
Eliminator put the plates on from the factory, we are looking for adjustable ones so you sit in the seat and not need to jump in the water then tune it by hand.
We have a camp on LG NY next to silver bay
It is a big hand full, its over powered for sure. Gives out a nice roar when you stomp on it, I the boat will literally jump out of the water when your at a dead stop.
It is a go fast boat for sure

An adj. plate would make a big diff for sure.

Ear protection? Never heard of it. Thanks, I have ear muffs coming in the mail. I will be safe and I try not to speed but... Its hard not too. The porpoise is bad when you bring it to 25-3500 its the worst.
