The boat worked! Stock Mark55 + 3-point hydro = 35mph The boat was fun, Ill try to get some vids up tonight. We just got the lower unit in last night and was working in the shop on it to get it to ready for next weekend. I'll put pics up of that too.

We tried it out. It is AWESOME! It’s very fast still some tuning left to do. We need a Electric tachometer you put around a spark plug wire and put in how many cylinders there is. (Where would we get one?)

If you wrap a single wire, you don't need to tell the tach how many cylinders you have; with these magnetos, it would be silly to wrap more than one wire and then ask the tach to do some math. I think a Tiny Tach brand or similar is what you are looking for.

eBay has tons of them...just check how long shipping is and where it's coming from so your not waiting forever

If you just type in tach you'll get plenty..
I had one of these for testing when I was having tach issues..
Just read and check description but think this should work fine..there are even cheaper ones but....

This is one of the ones I got and use on the boat too just as a second set..
Have a few gauges for passenger not that they are needed ..but nice and small but easy to see and read
