Will consider purchase or partial / complete motor, regardless of condition if it has a cowl and pan.
thanks

Years ago (15-17), there was a guy named Ted Miller in Boynton Beach that had a set of molds for the T2 / T2X. He was in the AOMC and was known to have a LOT of vintage and antique stuff (warehouse full)... lots of early Merc racing stuff, one offs, prototypes and he reproduced some parts. First time I saw a Merc KG9 electric start! It was chain driven. Ted was pricey, but if you wanted it he had it. He passed away and I never heard of what happened to his collection. The AOMC in Florida split between the north and south guys and I stuck with the north crowd. I always thought they would resurface, but they haven’t. I would think someone on here might know the story. I wished I had bought a set just to have, plus my cowl/pan isn’t the best.

...ted died in 1997. his wife cookie has also passed away. ted & cookie left a well financed family foundation, the ted j. miller foundation, in boynton beach. one of ted/cookie's children, beverlee raymond & her husband run the foundation. you could try contacting her & ask if she knows what happened to his boat shop & warehouse inventory. don't have they're contact info handy anymore.

Tom- I’m not a seller yet, but probably should be. These motors deserve to be run vs. sitting on the stand. Mine spent 10 yrs in the house (maybe you can relate), before I got married. Now it’s huddled in the corner of the shop.
Fuji- Interesting info. I see the foundation is quite active. When I joined the Antique Outboard Club in the Mid 90s, I was one of the younger guys at 30. The older guys at that time are now mainly gone. Lots of information and knowledge went with them.
