    Usps

Anyone have a contact for a real person who has authority in the claims department of the USPS? I am still fighting with them over a small flat rate box they destroyed, sent me the label torn off the box, and told me it was "likely packed inadequately."

Ya they denied every claim I did saying I had insufficient evidence.
Ya I paid additional insurance on it.

If anyone knows any contact for a real person that would be cool...

I watched the ups guy drop my brand new mag 2 lower with Bob's cone off his truck in my driveway, it cut the point completely off my bigfoot, as well as bent my skeg, I would try to contact corporate, as you will only get peons until udo

I ordered a bunch of truck parts for my pickup and UPS delivered yesterday. My wife was home and she said the UPS lady was pissed. Was about 300 lbs of boxes she had to bring to the front door. haha. My wife did say she was a younger hot ups girl. She said I bet that ups girl gets hit on all day by dudes on her delivery route! haha. But yes, one box of rotors had the rotor hanging out the side and the rest of the suspension was beat up.

The only claim UPS has ever paid is when they lost the package and didn't deliver anything... otherwise they will drop off an empty box with "50# label" on it and pretend everything is fine. When you file a claim it's your fault for not packing it correctly.

Packaging rule of thumb is the package must be able to survive a fall from 4 feet. Think package falling off a belt during sort.

You know how to do that for USPS?
I have not been able to talk to anyone high up. All I have is someone who tells me to do the online claims deal which is a no go.

I'm pretty sure the last USPS one, I had to file online and wait for them to respond by e-mail... then "escalate" it when nothing happened. A real person called and pretended to help... never did get paid.

That is what I went through the last 6 months. Literally 6 months. Now its over and got nowhere.

I want to talk to the fools making decisions on these cases...

Keep calling and get someone on the phone. Have recipient bring in box with item for inspection.

Good luck is all I can say. I order a lot of stuff from Amazon (don't judge) and my UPS guy said their packaging has always sucked. When I gave feed back on how poorly that they packaged things, they deleted my comments.

I see it as winning the lottery if you get something shipped in without damage.
