    Prop pitch help

On my checkmate predictor I'm currently running a Michigan wheel 13/21 trimmed up and at 3" below the pad I will see 5800 rpm the motor is a 115 1984 tower of power merc I wanna try another prop to help keep the bow up I'm thinking a PowerTech ptr in either a 13.5/21 or 22p. I'm not sure where the motor makes max power and if a 22p would produce more speed. Any suggestions would be appreciated

With the TOP I would keep the rpm up high. A big prop and lower rpms will make it slow out of the hole and stress the engine more. The power tech is a bow lifter. Found this...http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=716710

I had good performance with a through the hub 23 chopper paired with a 150 TOP on a 16ft Sidewinder lo pro. Pulled out of the hole and top end.

Yep, what these guys said.....definitely don't want to over prop the tower and chopper is key to bow lift.
Post a video running, all of us merc fans can't resist the sound of an inline winding out!
