    Question Vector question

    Hi i have a 82 vector factory bottom. What would be good engine height for being bolted on the transom. Has mercury 150 v6, 1.87 gear case, 24 pitch chopper and bobs nose cone. Thank you and god bless

    Should run into the 70's. So, maybe even with the bottom, or a little below with the propshaft. You might need a bigger prop...

    I left the "j hook" on the bottom of mine and I'm running the cone 1/2" above the pad. The prop+ setback your using is also going to determine whether the boat l Iikes that or not. My vector likes more engine height with a cleaver vs a chopper at 6" setback
