All the big cruising cats that have plywood bulkheads are seeing failures.. Not from rot, can't carry the vertical shear loads. Weight kills these types of catamaran. With a broad beam, and high rigging loads pressing down they are very stressed. These guys understand this and are going "over kill" on the construction. Good old foam core, bi ply glass , some carbon and epoxy.
