So do I have to sell either my jetski or my boats? Looks like sides have to be picked, lol

The sit down ones I have never cared for. There just boring, Hold them to the bar a couple times then what. Now the old stand up's where fun. 2 stroke like a sled you could modd, A challenge to ride, A good work out , Refreshing on a hot day, 2 guys could throw one in the back of a truck or on a swim platform... Like a ski only with a jet... These days when a bud asks you want to take it for rip, I usually say yeah to run over to talk to somebody in a different group or check out a boat .. The sit downs are boring.

Have to agree about the stand ups, not sure why they got pushed aside in favor of these gigantic sit downs.
As far as the crowd using these things, they could annoy paint off a wall with the back and forth constantly while we're fishing or just anchored up somewhere. One day they're gonna suck up some of my braided line in the intake and wish they went to the open water instead...ha1977 Hydrostream Vector 2.5 Promax

.
as far as affordability when buying new, you can't beat the prices to just get out on the water and have some fun.
there are pontoons that are very close to the cost of a new jetski but then again the storage costs will get ya
I don't ever get close to other boaters as I'm usually exploring , especially in the Florida Keys where there are lots of shallow areas to get to that "paradise island" of choice
Jet skis are definitely less work, less fuel , less cost, no storage fees if you care to keep in a standard garage
I will soon be fishing off of my jetski...another way to just get out there with less cost to have some fun
I don't care to do this...but it's doable...
