Quicksilver Paralift jackplate torque
I've just finished rebuilding a Quicksilver Paralift jackplate (12" setback, 500lbs) which I got used, paint job was in rough shape so I took it all apart and sandblasted, repainted, then took trim/tilt motor/ram apart to rebuild it as well. Works great now, looks great too.
My question however is does anybody know the torque specs for the 4 bolts on each corner (that slides into the bushings)? I can't find documentation on this anywhere, did a search here also. I did use an electric torque adapter to determine the breakaway torque when removing the nuts, highest value I got was 32 on one of the corners, all other 3 were lower or didn't even register on the adapter. Since they were all different, I'm not even sure if 32 was the right number to look at either.
I know breakaway torque is always lower than tightening torque, which apparently can range between 5-15%, so I added 10% to the 32 for a value of 35 ft lbs, and I torqued all 4 to that value. This slightly clamped the aluminum onto the edges of the bushings, which looks fine and it all does still work (jackplate goes up/down without issue, albeit slightly slower than when it wasn't torqued at all).
Thanks in advance for any info anyone can shed on this!

On those units I switch to Grade 8 bolts and torque to 32lbs. Nice units although a bit heavy.
