    Prop Question

Anyone help me get a little more rpm out of my prop. Found a dyno sheet for my motor and it looks like I am stuck in a 10-12 hp hole at 5600 rpm, if the test was accurate. It wouldn't hurt to be closer to 6k anyway. Stock hp is the red lower wiggly line. Anyone use this company "Outboardtune"? This is there claim for my Suzuki DF150 tuned on premium fuel. Pretty tempting If I could find an extra ECU.

Looking at their website I find it a bit odd that a 140 that they tuned started at only 117hp and they got it to 170 plus. Must have been pretty tired before they even started

The 115 and 140 are the same block but lots of people say the 140 is a little weak, but yeah 117 hp is quite low from what i have read. You don't get the whole story. Guy says you have to run premium fuel. There is places in Australia doing what looks like the same outboard tuning, JB Mechanical on facebook, lots of outboard dyno runs and all kinds of stuff. Heard of them?

I contacted a company here in Canada that makes hot ECU's for the Suzuki Quads, They said the Suzuki's aren't the fastest but we get some real good improvement with our ECU's. I was curious too about the big claims.

Thank's, I never noticed that. Is it because the Hp scale is different than the Torque scale on the other side of the graph?

Read some posts here a while back about sharpening a prop and gaining rpm. One comment was that once you sharpen a stainless prop you won't be able to add cup later. Is that true?
