I am potentially working on a dune buggy (Looking to see if it is an original or not). The buggy had a fire underneath and I might need help with that section as I am not sure how to deal with it. Its not horrible but I am not sure if a mold of the affected area should be made then the damaged area all cut out or grind off the gell coat put a layer of glass in then grind all out from the back to the new layer than back fill with new glass or lastly grind in to the gel coat then glass back out.

The damage goes around the back seat and out to the tail section mostly isolated to the driver side.

This might be better suited to a shop with more background than me. If it is an original then the repair needs to be stellar.
