    Idle stabilizer module

I'm getting ready to remove my idle stabilizer box I know it's been discussed a million times now and I searched a few threads but I'm confused after I removed the box do I need to connect a jumper wire to both switch boxes the red wire with a white line and a white wire with a black line do I connect both of them together or just take them completely off?

Take the module off. No need to re-wire anything. There should already be a bias wire between the switchboxes (the upper left most terminal). White wire with a black stripe.

The module has a few wires running down to the switchbox...take them all off and make sure each post on all the switchboxes has at least one wire on them. Post pics here if you are unsure.

Do not jump the red/white wire to the white/black terminal on the switchbox...that will fry your boxes. Red wire and red/white are stator power (+) and that bias is a ground (-) circuit. The module takes power or something through that red wire, not sure of the circuitry exactly, but forget about it. In the end all the stator leads to the switchboxes (2 blue wires and 2 red wires) should be on terminals all by themselves.

Thanks for the reply. Ok I thought so just wanted to double check. I believe I read somewhere that I should bump the wide open throttle timing to 25 degrees?

The three greens going off to the right go to the ECU so carb motors won't have those...

How much compression and do you run good fuel? Might try 23 answer e how she likes it. Then try 24. Then 25. Always run good fresh 92 or 93 fuel. What is your motor?

why some get confused with tha "WHITE/BLACK" wire.....

this justa note about tha "white/black" jumper... some motors when still have tha "module" will LOOK like it has two separate white/black wires on tha two switch boxes.. what they do is they go into a sleeve where they make a "joint" making them into one to tha module.. when you remove tha "module" it seems like you are removing two separate white/blacks when its actually only one.. thats when you need to make tha "short jumper" replacement wire..........
