Can any tell me what the numbers on my head gaskets mean
Ok I found numbers on my head gaskets
27-412471
0502
338
If you blow the pics up it's clear
I got a story with this motor that it started out as a 175 and was turned into a 225 I don't know weather to believe the guy or not. Was hoping these numbers would tell me something to confirm it or not. Or at least give a part number to match up

3.38 would be the gasket bore. The other numbers who knows. That’s a standard gasket for a 2.4
As for “turning” a 175 into a 225....that might be a stretch unless a good amount of internal work was done in the motor.
