Yamaha 2.6 jetting
Just rebuild a 2006 carb 150 Vmax (V150TLR)
New bores, pistons , cut heads 0.04", ccms reeds, 6g500 exhaust divider ,6g5 tuner. Did some light porting and lifted exhaust port height to 1.62". Just started breaking in...feels really strong and sound great, not had it above 4000rpm yet. Set timing at 24 degrees. Using the 32mm Nikki cabs....started with jets from 165 to 170(bottom)Are this jets ok for a start at this setup? Will read plugs as soon as break-in is done.
Am I on the right track here with timing and jets ?
What HP will this setup give?
