2 of Jacksonville's Brightest young Stars ,,,
Saw this kid here at the beach when he was about 14 , Beach festival , Derick Trucks , son of Butch Trucks of the Almond Brothers Band. He has grown up and married ( i believe i can get her name right ) Susan Tadeshi , incredable talent in her own right and they are now the Tedeshi Trucks Band . nosebleed seats at Daily's Place ampetheter next to Altell Stadium go for about a buck and a half a piece , and they were the first band to play there upon it's opening. here they are with the Legend BB King and John Mahyer, watch for the complement BB gives Derick ,,,

Brightest young stars? They cannot be that young. Susan Tedeschi (Ta-Des-Ski) was on the radio in the late 90's with these two and a few more.
Derek Trucks has been around a long time and played with a lot of famous people, but has not written anything famous as far as I know.Last edited by SS Minnow; 04-17-2021 at 10:46 PM.

And they were inspired by The Allman Brothers band members;
Dickie, Duane and Gregg.

One of the things I miss most about Fla is the outdoor, live music.
We forgot how much we missed live music until passing Earls in Sebastian w/the top down on our regular Sunday day trip to the Cape to hang at their tiki bars and watch the cruise ships head to sea.
Also reminded me how much I like and feel a part of southern rock.
Rock on Mr Keith!
Thanks for sharing.
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
