ISO 2.4 or 2.5L Merc 175-225
Located near Milwaukee. Budget is 3k MAX, so I can't afford a super high dollar engine. Also interested in piles of parts so I could build my own. Let me know! Shorter midsection the better, found a few but they're all super tall mids.

I have a 1987 2.4 for ya. Carbed motor. Installed Chris Carson reeds few years back. All chrome never been hurt. Compression #130-125 on all 6 (pics upon request) Always ran strong for me. Just pulled it off boat last fall to upgrade to a 2.5. Live near Green bay so no shipping involved.
Let me know if your interested & we can talk price depending on what you all want with it.X-Stream Vegas

A-train-97:
If the OP from this thread passes on your '87 Merc, I might be interested. I have a '77 Hydrostream Vector with a 150 XR2 on it. The boat used to have a very heavy Evinrude 175. I would need a prop and the control box -w- cables. Any pictures?

I've got a complete 99 Mariner (Merc) 200 EFI 20inch that quit on last week (Sounds like a ring) as well another 96ish powerhead that I bought from this forum awhile back that is in unknown state (I was told it was good but never mounted it to verify anything) Plenty of parts for you to build something for sure! $2k for everything. PM me if interested
