Opinions on Punta Gorda Florida
Any members live in the area. Researching retirement homes/areas and this area looks interesting.
Spent the last week on the east coast and now am begining to explore the west coast.
Thanks, Mike

We have spent some time in the area the last few winters and it seems like a great place to be. If you ever get the chance head a little north and drive Casey Key, I don't think it can get much better than that for an avid boater.

Ziemer, I am going to give you a call. I am also a realtor up here. I also contract and flip houses. The market up here is crazy also. If the right deal comes along, I will jump. Been in the biz too long to get caught up in bidding wars. Wait in the bushes and snipe

We lived on a sailboat for 8 years and would move it up and down the coast from Mobile to Key West. We stayed in Charlotter Harbor for a couple of months and I really liked the area. The Mexico Beach, Port St Joe area is another area thats really nice and the real estate is a lot less expensive.
Too hot to plow.....might as well fish.
