Nelson the CRT pistons use mercury rings.

Nelson, I have been using a set of rings on my CRT pistons for a year and a half in my steel bore motor. You need to contact Dean Pink at Wizard. He has what you need. I promise this is the way to go.

thanks Bud. I confirmed that the Mercury rings fit. The Wizard rings do NOT fit. I have some of both. I am actually using PRO Marine 481 rings (steel sleeve motor) modified to fit the top pinned CRTs.

No problem Buddy!! The Wizard Piston Ring Groves and Their Rings have a different angle cut than the Mercury and CRT's. They will not work PROPERLY. CRT copied Mercury's Ring Groove profile.

If you contact Dean, he has the correct rings. He has different pistons with different grooves.
