Has anyone swap from MPI fuel intake setup to a Holley Sniper setup?

Welcome to Scream and Fly! Most of the rigs here are outboards but there are some IO guys, too. You might check over on Boatfreaks.org, too. Good bunch of IO guys
The first thing that comes to my mind is whether or not it's uscg approved. If it's under a hatch, it needs to be. Good luck.
What is it in?1990 Shadow bass boat w/ 2.4 200 Merc. Totally resto'd boat and love it!

"This gets kicked around every few months and I’ve yet to hear of any solid results either way regarding aftermarket TBI systems. MPI systems seem to be a winner. On the BBC forums on cars the Sniper gets rave reviews, but in a Marine application where the engine spends most of its life near redline the throttle body seems to be a restriction. Autos spend .001% of their life near redline so they’d never notice. That’s my internet education on the matter." BajaRooster
I've never done it so I shouldn't be commenting, but reading your post had me wondering why. Like what would possibly motivate someone to do that? I work on inboards and have seen the sniper setup in cars and mpi in boats...never seen a sniper in a boat. Is there something wrong with your mpi or are you just tryna make more power?
