    23.5 Eliminator Daytona 1988

Eliminator Daytona with twin circa. 2000 Johnson 225 H.O motors or 250's which are the same. 20" shafts, one counter rotating. Hydraulic steering, Morse dual shifters, stock brackets. Hull has had the hatch and windows removed and has been repainted several years ago. Upholstery is still all there with no major problems but showing its age. Aluminum tandem axle trailer that works very well registered as home built. No blowing smoke here. Boat is completely usable as is and runs strong. Both motors run and shift well and both have good compression and power. As you probably know, these old carburetored two strokes are reliable but somewhat finicky. Carbs have all been gone through recently and much of the electronics are new. The counter rotating lower unit has been rebuilt only a few hours ago. Has 28 pitch bravo 1 props which are pretty good all around but speed may be improved upon with other props. Boat goes around 85 mph as it is and gets up on plane easily with 4 people and full of gas. Some additions to the forward bulkhead have been added for increased rigidity and there is a slightly soft spot on the floor near the rear bench seat which has been there for years. Under the sunpad is ugly and the floor could use some improvements there. Some people would be happy just using this boat as is, others would consider it somewhat of a project. Cheap price of $8,000 to anyone who will be reasonable and no more picky than an $8,000 twin cat warrants. Not a show boat but it gets much admiration wherever it is. No free boat rides. I will back the deal with a full refund if a short seatrial after payment shows any major engine or mechanical problems. Thanks for looking Boat is located in SW Florida. How is the transom in this boat?can you send pics of transom and bottom of boat to me at 928-264-4358 ? Also, what is that holding the windshield together and are there trim switches on the floor or anywhere else besides the two on the shift box?

Trim switches on console and on motors. Transom is solid. Will take pics of bottom but, its on a trailer. Windshield held together at crack by wire ( last owner. Been like that for years)
