At my lady friends apartment we slice-up whole apples, into bite size sections.
And then we place them on trays, and put them into her gas oven.
(She just put some in the oven last Sunday).
She does not turn up the heat, we just leave the apples in the oven for several days,
and let the heat from the pilot flame dehydrate the apples.
Later she takes them out and puts them into a sealed container.
And now I have apples to snack on.

Icelanders are crazy for hotdogs. Their Pylsurs, lamb, pork and beef hotdogs, are served with ketchup, mustard, raw onion and fried onion and a remoulade made of mayonnaise, chopped gherkins, white wine vinegar and Dijon mustard. They aren’t bad. The dogs themselves are very good.
