Not sure. I have a 2.4 chip in it now and I plug a DDT into it and read all the parameters. I got it from a guy who was runnin it on a 2.5 and he kept that 2.5 chip...don't think its a merc box

That is a CDI aftermarket box. Not sure what chips work in it, whether Merc and CDI, or just CDI. The chip determines the curve and the fuel pressure of which the curve is built for. Won't work for my buddy but it should be fine for someone that has a comparable engine to yours. Sorry, I never received an email of the updates you posted.

What do you need for it?

For a 2400lb fishing boat. Goal to run 6500, that's getting heads cut for 140 comp, stuffers, cc reeds and running WMV 18 carbs if possible. Will this chest work and rod slot area be ok. Did we work enough out or should we do more. Hopefully we didn't take out to much. This is the same motor that I need the exhaust divider for. Is there anywhere else stuffing can be put? Sorry going off track.

Exhaust chest work looks the coolest and does the least. Stick with compression, Intake work and set up. If you have the stock constant diameter tuner, get rid of it and at the very least put a 2.4 tuner on it. Good props, engine height and a diet, will net you the most...
