One of the worst parts about getting old is the body don't much care for golf anymore. Started playing back in 67 and played on the high school golf team and many tournaments. Probably been 6 years since I swung a club. Mom is 90 and she wants to try it again also. She was 6 time city champion and no I can't beat her. Still love the game and I hope her and I get out this year. Not gonna be pretty but it will be a blast. Next few days not so much.

Golf can be very tuff on the old spine, Golf was everything to my brother who is 10 years older than me, he was on the U Miami golf team, he would drag me out since I was 8 years old till 12 my father also loved golf they wanted me to get serious about playing, I have not played since then, my brother can't play anymore because of intense pain from the repeated twisting of the spine, Dr wants to operate but with the hit of miss results he just misses his favorite past time.

On TV they showed Tiger teeing off. And the camera angle was looking directly inline with his right shoulder.
And from that angle, I saw the tremendous twisting of Tiger's body.
His swing was violently strong and then all that power comes to an abrupt stop.

That is when, I realized why Tiger and guys like him, have to have back/spinal surgery.

cool deal Kid, back then it was called " Thousand Oaks " the 19 th hole was a double wide trailer. Sawgrass was across A1A Oceanside , Thousand Oak's got bought and converted to what is now the TPC coarse. kinda fun to be here and watch whats whats happened, luckly we bought waterfront 29 years ago magin that , will be paid off in less than 2yr

Since I've gotten older I've spent more time on the golf course that I have in the boat. It's just a lot easier to throw a bag of clubs in trunk and go play .
A tour pro once told me that if I want to stay pissed off keep playing golf ,if I wanted to be peaceful and Serene stay in the boat.
