Alpha SS lower unit
I have a NOS Alpha SS case, CLE with the water pickup above the nosecone like the ModVP case. Other than blocking the oil passage, can this be built as a ModVP lower unit? Anyone done one?

It's a alpha spool type shift mechanism so you absolutely must have a shifter that locks into each gear.
