    lower unit stuff

Pretty much all Mercury. Some stuff very useable and some needs a little tlc to be useable. All prices plus the ride.

    Drive shafts..................$20
    Prop shafts....................$20
    Loose dogs...................$5
    Shift rods.....................$2
    Prop shafts w/gears........$100
    Prop shaft w/gears no pinion.....$75
    Carriers........................$15
    Reverse bearings............$5
Gears on left.................free very borderline but in a pinch
    Pinions......................$10
Double row gears.........$20 gears good dogs not perfect but useable
    Torquemaster case 3.0.....$200
    XR6 case....................$200
    All other cases............. $75
XR6 2:1 gear set with front bearing, shims, and pinion...... $200

I am not a lower unit guy and I do NOT know what most of these parts fit. I do NOT have any sportmaster, fat shaft, or associated parts. Cases all look to be useable. As with all my stuff you get it and don't like it you ship it back and I will refund money. Ya want it all make offer and save money. Give me your part # needed and I will see if it exists somewhere in the pile. Thanks

    Rock

He has an I-4 case on the far left and what looks like a I-6 case next to it. Not trying to steal the thread, but Tom Smyth message me with what you are looking for if rock does not have it...but contact rock first cause hes the one postin...

It also looks like he may have some CLE shafts or some CLE gears but I cant tell from the pics. I would take a good set of CLE gears that are any ratio as long as they all match. Let me know if you would mic the ID of a set for me to see if it would fit. Give me a call at 510-418-4911 if you still have some v6 gears and are willing to mic some parts.
    Thank you, J Avery.

I wish mother Merc had been more consistent with the part #s. Some sets are in sequence and others are not. I doubt the reverse gear mentioned goes with the forward gear mentioned cuz the forward gear mentioned is one of them in sequence. Complete set on prop shaft is 44103, 44104, and 44105. You mentioned measuring which I would be willing to do. 309-231-8019.

There are only 3 drive shafts left. After cleaning one has a compromised lower bearing surface and the other serious pitting around water pump area. Those are large pinion and are most likely useless. The small pinion shaft may be useable but barely.

Looking for a gear set that the fwd gear I.D. is 0.997 and the reverse gear/propshaft seal dia. is 1.242" The pinion to go with them is large, not small. If those gears are on one of your propshafts (the propshaft dia. at the seal would be 1.242") I will take the shaft, bearings and the 3 gears. Let me know if you have a set (any ratio) with those specs.

    Thank you, J Avery

Measured with caliper forward id right at 1.0 and seal area 1.19 so we are close. If you want to try I will ship it to you and if it is right and useable you pay $100 plus shipping. If it is not what you want you ship it back and pay nothing but the shipping back.
