Mr Dano can drive. My 16 Baja was a handful with a hand throttle at 67 mph. I had a 115 HO, he has a 2.5L. Wow.

Nope, 20" mid bolted to the transom, no jackplate. I put that motor on.... had it to 70 with three people in a winter (Florida) light chop. Originally Posted by TooStroked

a 2.5 on a 16ss?? Wow. I have my 16SS still. Has an inline 115 on it. Now you got me thinking. I have a Rude 175 Ficht sitting on a stand waiting for a boat. Wonder if that would work? (I know, Fichts not reliable, but why not since I have it? and I did upgrade the ECU cooling lines..) Whats your thoughts on that idea 175 Ficht idea?? And 70MPH? Didn't that thing chine walk like a drunk cougar at a frat party?
