Although it`s an old boat it should be considered fairly new with all the work thats been done. These are great boats and have been winning marathon races since the young 80`s. I was there for a lot of them and was turn judge at the Mod-VP national challenge race on Lake Buhlow in 1983. The black boat of Kim Howard`s was amazing to watch coming down the stretch. BTW he won.

Your boat is beautiful and orange happens to be my favorite color. 15K sounds like a good number and if I didn`t already have my Riot I may be a player. My idea would be a 300X on a 15inch Taylor mid w/1.62 gear Sporty. Now we talking.

Yes I know of a blue one and a white/black one. They are friends of mine.

Baker. It loves rough water so don`t thing that I haven`t had the same thoughts your having.

Mr Sleek, Sorry for jacking up your thread. Good luck selling your beautiful boat.

I was a great boat racing fan through the 1980's and I was there at that boat race in 1983 on Lake Buhlow. I remember the name Kim Howard and the Sleekcraft. Brought back lots of good memories! I believe Joe Burgess was also there.

Clint. I am not ignoring you and your private message. S&F is not letting me log into your private message and respond to you. Likely operator error on my end.
I have shown my phone number above. Give me a call and we can discuss

Most of us are from the east coast so you can't expect someone to drive 4,000 miles to look at your pretty boat

There's a great post on S&F of his rebuild and testing to win the Parker Enduro a few years back.
You have a gorgeous Sleek that's very capable of running mid 80's with interior, fuel tanks and stuff
I would think the market is 10 to 14. JMO

Do you have the link for the thread for this build? I'm thinking about repowering my SST with a Yamaha 250 SHO
