Anyone tried a 4 blade ProMax Prop on a STV?

Just curious as to the prop/cons.

I was thinking it may help get over the hump with the heavy 3.0L motors but then you would be limited in height do to the thru hub exhaust.

That could vary a little but should stay close .. it will physically lift the stern higher so you might not have to go as high up on the jackplate per say . “ bigger water ski” with the tube on there .

Agree with wicheckmate, the ride is much better with a Pro Max versus a solid hub as well, much smoother thru waves

My 28 carries the boat very well with weight. Minimal slip acts much bigger than it is still runs 110+ with a passenger. I’ve also towed a couple heavier boats on plane with passengers in both.
