Evinrude v8 flywheel
I have an spare engine and noticed that the flywheel is different from the others that I normally see. Refer to attached picture. The flywheel has the magnets integrated and the stator is different. There is no part number etched to check for specifications. Could anyone have any knowledge of them.

Have you pulled it to see if there are numbers on the underside?

Yes, no part number was identified. Someone mentioned that it should be a counter rotation engine. In 1985 the engine rotates counter. Interesting.
