    1986 sterling

    look for information on old sterling 17 ft boat. boat has 175 Evinrude. is this a good hull to run fast?

    Info is few and far between on the Sterling's. I believe they are an eliminator copy. Some of them might have even been a full tunnel. I'm guessing with a 175 you might have problems packing air to really be a "fast" boat for the hp. That being said, they are pretty light I'm sure, not a ton of freeboard on the ones I've seen

    I take it back after reading the other thread, maybe the 18 is an eliminator copy?
