tempest seems to be the prop of choice for the paramount guys to get as much boat out of the water as possible.

Tempest with a shortened barrel. Loads of bow lift. I'm running a 29p, worked tips, cut barrel tempest on my V-King and I really like it. Slip #'s down in the 6% range. I keep the engine at neutral trim and get all the bow lift I need. It's fast, it cruises, it's great on fuel. Boat handles well at speed. Planes good too. Hard to beat really. This is the prop i'm running in my avatar pic.
