    VST Removal

I just removed my VST on my modified 225 Promax. I installed a Bosch remote pump(mod-580 254 957)with a 100 micron filter before the pump, then the supply line runs to the factory Canister filter then to manifold. Installed a Gold regulator with this, is this too much filtering. Thank you

Big no on pressurizing the canister filter. Those paper element filters should be on the suction side only.

I’m going to rebuild my 2.5 efi soon. Is it wise to ditch the VST?

Hi-LakeFever--This is my first ditching of VST. I decided to go this way because of running a modified powerhead. I am sure there are Good Tech Guys on here to give you true benefits of it.

Roadkill--Thanks for the picture. Question where did you connect the vacuum line off the VST with the check valve in it. Thank you
