Are you ready to try a mechanical 3D Printed Steak.

Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and Aleph Farms made the “world’s first slaughter-free ribeye steak,” the company said Tuesday in a statement. The firm’s technology prints living cells that are incubated to grow, differentiate and interact to acquire the texture and qualities of a real steak.

“It incorporates muscle and fat similar to its slaughtered counterpart,” Aleph Farms said, adding that the product boasts the same attributes “of a delicious tender, juicy ribeye steak you’d buy from the butcher.”

If this works, it could really disrupt the farming industry as a whole. Beef prices would probably be all over the map too. Price of Wagu coming down? How do they rate them if they are machine made? Can they be rated the same as "regular" beef?

How's that fake whopper working out for you? More than twice the fat/calories as a real one.

I didn't even know that was a thing. I'm not too keen on eating something that didn't come from the ground or from an animal mysef, but there are definately people out there that will, or would actually prefer to.
