What did you eat on Super Bowl Sunday & best TV game Commercial?
At my lady friend's house, I ate her hearty vegetable soup. It had about 9 ingredients, which matches the Chiefs total points scored in the football game.

The most unusual time out (non commercial) was a male streaker running on the field, wearing a Bra.
What does that say about our current USA cultural?

Peel and eat key west pink shrimp 5'' long, new taters and sausage boiled with corn on the cob. Key lime pie for dessert. Catching Snook off the camp dock on every cast. Listened to old time country music Sunday, all the greats...5 days of splendor in the Everglades with good friends at camp Willy-Willy. Named for a Seminole Indian and his family that lived there long long ago. 3 flats boats, all would do 70+. Only part that resembled the super bowl was the 2 chigger bites I got on my butt.

Why you lettin' chiggers bite yer butt??? You running around with no shorts??........Sorry C, couldnt resist........
sounds like you had a great time.
I watched that terrible super bowl. Most of the commercials sucked. Normally, I throw down for the grub. This time?........a few meatballs, 10 wings, and some leftover mozzarella sticks. Then, I shut it off at half time.
By the way, you southerners get rock shrimp anymore?

In our younger days we would take some girls with us camping. Did some skinny dipping with the gators. It was in the 80's one afternoon and I wore shorts. I should have known to shoot my legs with some OFF bug spray. But I was a little distracted by the hot snook bite and playing with a fly rod. Those things (chiggers) get me everytime I go to willy willy. Other campsites, not so much. We can get rock shrimp and the royal reds. Both deep water shrimp. 250' or so. I over eat and drink too much everytime I go. My gout was killing me when I got back. I am a glutton for punishment. Sad about the football. Miss it, but I won't contribute to the corruption which is TV.

There are two fish that I have on my to do list........1) snook and 2) walleye. I havent eaten either. And from what I hear from everyone, they are the best tastin' saltwater and freshwater fishes. SO, I always perk up when someone talks about catchin' either one.
I am guessin' the iodine in the shrimp sends your gout-a-screaming? The iodine in crabs gets me.......if I eat too many.......
I was asking about rock shrimp because they are the best shrimp I ever ate. I bought them from a guy who brought some back(years ago) from Carolina on the side of the road up here. And I also bought some down in Myrtle Beach on vacation. The only drawback is that their shell was so hard and sharp, my thumb was all cut up from their shells!!!...and my thumb is like leather. I am just wanting to find some again.
